Best Management Practices

Encourage natural predators and parasites

Description

Conserve natural enemies such as ladybeetles, mantids, parasitoid wasps, birds, lizards, and small mammals.  Minimize pesticide use to avoid killing important enemies.  Conserving natural habitats where they can live is important.  Natural enemies often require undisturbed areas where they can breed (61).
