Treatment timing can be determined for many pests and diseases using Degree-days

Description

Use Degree-days or other pest/pathogen modeling systems to time preventative pesticide applications.  Degree days take into account changing temperatures on pest emergence and can help predict  pathogen outbreaks. Accepted Degree-day models exist for some pests.
