Minimize contact of branches and soil and keeps areas clear around stock to keep pest from climbing plants

Description

EBGS:  Make it difficult for the pest to climb plants by trimming tree skirts and wrapping trunks with copper foil (94).  Removing shade can also have a positive effect by removing daytime hiding places (29).  Bags, brush, and debris are excellent places for snails to hide (94).
